BLOG: Working, Working, Working

In the first part of 2013, I’ve been pretty productive. Actually, no—in the very first part of 2013, I was really sick with the flu and I spent about a week moaning under a blanket, watching Netflix. Since then, things having been going great, though!

I’ve had two webseries, CSU: Crime Stoppers Unit and Pretty Shorts debut, I’ve worked on three short films and one pilot, I will be on location in a little over a week filming yet another short film, and I have recently been cast in the new play War Wound, for which I will be part of a staged reading on the 10th, 11th, and 12th of May (check fraggledproductions.com for more details).

Last weekend was particularly busy, as I jumped from set to set, finishing two short films at the same time. It was the most fun I’ve had since moving out to LA, followed closely by one day that I ate pizza for all three meals. That was pretty great too.

Despite how much work I’ve been doing, I found some time to put some of my work together and now have my reel live on this site! You can take a look at it here.

Well, back to trying to recreate the second best day I have ever had in LA. Just waiting on the delivery guy…

Chris writes webcomics at fullpickle.com. He also writes a short, creative piece daily at his other website, Write Every Day.

An actor and writer, Chris is also a vegetarian who hates salad. He loves ferrets and the fiction of Arthur C. Clarke.

Chris was born, learned how to walk, did some other stuff, and spent most of his life in Rhode Island. There, he grew up playing ice hockey, hoping to one day make it to the NHL and play for the Boston Bruins. Later, he realized that was a silly dream and decided that making it big as an actor was a much more realistic goal.
